Making Lecture Time Better

Why are they falling asleep?

Brain research has shown that students stop listening to a lecture after ten minutes! They don't mean to; their brains just take a break. Let's work together to improve your lecture times to wake up those brains!

Classroom observations

Have you ever watched yourself teach? I provide helpful observations, either in person or from video, to improve your time in the classroom. Sometimes simple changes can make a big difference!

Active learning

There is a big push for "student-centered learning" and "active learning". More students are arriving to college with expectations of active learning in their classrooms. I have experience with making small changes so you can include "active learning" in existing classes. Alternatively, you can start over from scratch. Let me assist you in making your classroom more active, effective and fun!
